All voices are needed. Each of our unique vantage points are necessary to help us complete the picture and better understand each other and our local food system.
We prioritize shared leadership. WV-PAD Network participants set and prioritize an agenda relevant to their own collective and collaborative work.
We have permission to be messy. We share thoughts and ideas—no matter how incomplete we think they might be.
We have permission to be human. We can come and go as we need to.
We practice active listening. During PAD meetings, we are present and try to minimize other distractions as much as we are able.
If on Zoom, we encourage use of video. We feel free to turn it off as things come up.
We are committed to ongoing evaluation and direct and explicit dialogue to ensure we continue to make progress towards becoming a more representative and inclusive community.
